For many years I have been adventurous traveler for pleasure, but at some point I discovered that photography may enhance my travels by conveying a myriad of haunting experiences and feelings from all around the world without the unavoidable hassle and costs.
I consider myself having a "good eye" for colors and the magic of light.
The main focus of my photography is the ancient architecture in some of the European countries in comparison to the architecture in San Diego.
The most interesting ancient buildings for me are castles, cathedrals, churches, and universities. The heavy materials (bricks, stones, cement) and different mixture of styles are fascinating. The flourishing trimmings, sculptures, engravings, paintings, and colors perfectly complement the architectural structure. The old and modern architecture of San Diego differs in nearly all the aspects.
Landscape pictures are another of my interests as there are limitless mesmerizing views everywhere, near to us and a far away.
I think that my "travel" pictures from abroad will be a precious reminder for those who have already seen the objects in person and a new experience and inspiration for those who have not yet seen these wonders themselves. San Diegans might appreciate my pictures as a different view on their city. For others, it will be catch a glimpse of something new and admirable.
I also like photographing people, in particular ordinary ones. Very often I see in them the extraordinary features, feelings or expressions My goal is to uphold it in the photography.
